On Saturday 4 June 2017, Limbe Deanery in the Archdiocese of Blantyre had a big walk in the city of Blantyre whose to raise funds that would help them support patients, prisons, orphans and other underprivileged and needy persons.
"It is the responsibility of every Christian, especially Catholics, to help those that are in need hence the Deanery's intensification of fundraising for charity initiatives'" said Secretary for the Deanery Edward Lemani.
Parishioners of Limbe in the Deanery walked along Masauko Chipembere Highway in a bid to raise money for the cause.
