Episcopal Conference of Malawi launches a new 5year Strategic framework

In the year 2013 the Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM) Developed a Strategic Framework to guide the implementation of  its Social and Pastoral activities which run from 2013-2017. The strategic Framework focused on strengthening its pastoral work by focusing on the Youth, Vocation, Formation, Catholic Identity and the role of women in church among other things.

Due to the Expiry of this Framework in December 2017 the ECM Secretariat led by its Chairman Most Reverend Thomas Luke Msusa Officially Launched a New 5year Strategic Framework  after consultative meetings and assessment of the level of achievement of the previous strategic framework.

The new Framework there for aims at providing sense of direction to ECM Secretariat and the Catholic Church in Malawi at all levels and improve performance and service delivery to its members and the society at large. The strategic framework also seeks to be a guide to dioceses, parishes and all catholic institutions when developing their strategic plans.

This strategic framework will run from 2018 to 2022.
