Saint Anthony Major seminary popularly known as Kachebere is appealing for financial assistance to fulfill it's plans of conducting a successful Platinum Jubilee this October.
The seminary will celebrate 75 years of teaching seminarians most of whom eventually were ordained into Catholic Priesthood.
According to a press release entitled " 75 years of setting fire upon the earth 1939-2014" the seminary is appealing to all Bishops, Priests, Nuns, Lay faithful Christians ,the Alumni of the seminary and all people of good will to generously donate to the seminary .
Some of the major plans that are to be done on this Platinum celebrations include purchasing of a new Coaster, renovation or reconstruction of a new Library installation of a solar system and Internet facility among other.
Kachebere Major Seminary started it's operations in October 1939 by the Society of Missionaries of Africa and in 1969 it was handed over to the Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM).
