As disagreements between government and Public Affairs Committee PAC continues in Malawi, the Most Reverend Archbishop Thomas Luke Msusa of Blantyre Archdiocese has asked the Catholic ministers in government to defend the Church as much as they defend the government.
Archbishop Msusa said this at a golden jubilee celebration of Bango Parish of the Archdiocese of Blantyre in Thyolo district.
Archbishop Msusa commended Catholic ministers and politicians in Government who are proud of their being Catholic. The guest of honor at the function was Minister of Information and Technology Hon. Nicholas Dausi.
In his speech, Dausi urged Catholics to grow in the spirit of self-reliance. "To you choir members, compose songs that motivate Catholics to fully support the Catholic Church", said Dausi.
