18th AMECEA PLENARY ASSEMBLY HAS STARTED IN LILONGWE

10338589_771773189530614_1367445843746958650_oThe 18th AMECEA plenary assembly has started in Lilongwe, capital City of Malawi. Making the announcement through the press briefing, Fr Ferdinand Lugonzo who is the secretary General for AMECEA emphasized the official opening as a big blessing to Malawi as a nation. Fr Lugonzo thanked the Episcopal Conference of Malawi  and all people of Malawi for the warm reception as well as  their contribution and preparation of the event. He further thanked the Malawi government under the leadership of His Excellency, Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika for their support. The first plenary meeting started with a spiritual recollection for the bishops and other delegates under the theme “Unity”.
